How a home visit works

From first contact to follow-up, every step is organized around your pet.

  1. Before

We set up the owner's and pet's records, review and summarize previous tests, reports and treatments, and confirm the date, time, address and service.

  2. On the day

We confirm an hour ahead. We get to know your pet and its space, letting it approach without forcing contact, and do the physical exam. Then sample collection or vaccination, with the owner helping to hold the pet.

  3. After

Medical records, prescriptions, consent forms and requests sent by email and WhatsApp with a digital signature. Samples go to the lab, and once results are in, the doctor contacts you to explain them.

Duration. Up to 2 hours for a first visit; 1 hour at most with calm patients.

Tests. Blood, urine and stool are collected at home and processed by a partner lab, with results from 24 hours. Imaging is requested when needed and referred to partners, some of whom also do home visits.

Emergencies. We don't handle urgent cases or emergencies at home. In those cases, go to a 24-hour veterinary emergency service; if your pet is already our patient, we follow the case. It's worth locating the emergency services near your home now.

Who cares for your pet

Science, prevention and warmth in every visit.

I am Dr. Oriana González, a veterinarian (CRMV-SP 63634). I graduated from Universidad del Zulia (Venezuela) in 2013, and my degree was revalidated by the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) in 2023. I spent more than 10 years in small-animal practice and anesthesiology, and I have practiced in Brazil since 2023.

I was an associate researcher in Immunology and Toxicology at IVIC (2019–2021), a research collaborator at FMVZ-USP (2023), and an intern at UNAM's Institute of Biotechnology in Mexico. That scientific grounding supports a preventive, evidence-based and individualized practice.

I believe sharing knowledge is also a form of care: I give talks on multispecies families and pet-friendly coexistence for residential buildings, companies and events. I see clients in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Multispecies families, in practice

To me, a home is a living system: people and animals share space, routines and even microorganisms, and each one's balance affects everyone else's. That's why, in a consultation, I look beyond the animal. I want to know the household's habits, the ages of the people who live there and the place each animal holds in the family, and to read test results in that context.

Danchy, Vienna (Austria), Google review

“Home visits are a big plus, bringing more comfort for the pet and peace of mind for us owners. My Tete is much more at ease, and that directly improves the quality of care.”
